Our mission is to rebel against the snobby design that has existed for a long time and resist the waste of most ever-changing trends due to social media.
Our articles focus on universal design, quality over quantity and promote a positive message for people who are sick of being made to feel they have horrible taste or that you’ve let your house go because you’re a busy and successful adult who doesn’t always have time to have their home Instagram ready. We feel that interior design should be accessible to all and should never be photo-ready. Our tips will help the home function and look better, yes, but we offer this advice for investment, planning for the future, or fun decor advice when you do have the time.
The Editor of Simple Design Tips has been in design for over a decade and has worked on universal design renovations and for designers who need to catch up on what design should be for anyone of any ability to use a residential space and have it look good, too.
